Henry H. Ueckerman

Henry H. Ueckerman, 78, husband of the late Frances (Macari) Ueckerman of Heritage Village, Southbury, died February 6, in the Lutheran Home, Southbury.

He is survived by a daughter, Judy Nicolosi, and her husband Steve of Newtown, and four granddaughters, Samantha Ueckerman, Jessica Nicolosi, Rachel Nicolosi, and Danielle Nicolosi. He was predeceased by a son, Douglas R. Ueckerman.

Mr Ueckerman was born in Ridgewood, Queens, N.Y., a son of the late Walter and Regina Ueckerman.

He was a tractor trailer driver and a member of the Teamsters until his retirement.

During World War II, he served in the US Merchant Marine. Mr Ueckerman has been a resident of Southbury since 1995.

Funeral services were held February 11 from the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, and at St Rose of Lima Church for a Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery.
