Oldest, Newest Girl Scouts Sought

United Girl Scouts of America, Newtown Division, is getting ready to honor young and old girl scouts in Newtown for “Be Your Best Day,” to honor the birthday of the girl scout organization.

The 89th birthday of girl scouts is March 12. Baskets are being prepared for two special girl scouts in Newtown. The first is the one who would be the oldest living girl scout in Newtown. The second would be the first prospective baby girl scout born closest to March 12, 2001.
