Members of the Nunnawauk Meadows Residents’ Association have been preparing for their annual Tag Sale & Bake Sale, which will take place Saturday, September 27, from 9 am to 4 pm, and Sunday, September 28, from 11 am until 3 pm. Thanks to their sizable community building at 3 Nunnawauk Road, where the event will be presented, the tag and bake sale will go on rain or shine. From left is Marge LoRusso, Anna Trombetto, Muriel Guyer, Barbara Wadleigh, and Helen Dalton, who recently spent hours sorting and pricing items that will be offered. “Wait till you see what we have this year,” promised Mrs Wadleigh. “It’s all new stock, nothing left over from last year’s sale. We start fresh every year.” The organizers, which also includes Kay Egan, Ella Klein, and Jayne Turner, received so many donations they actually had to stop taking any more. Proceeds benefit the residents’ association and activities.
