Adopt From The Animal Center

The following cats and dogs are among those available for adoption through The Animal Center:

LANCASTER was picked up by an Animal Center volunteer as a “Free-To-Good-Home” kitten. She had been living on a farm in a shed. Lancaster is approximately 4 months old, she adapts quickly to new situations, immediately began using a litterbox without accidents, and is extremely trusting. Lancaster is a particularly sweet and happy kitten. She is spayed and current on vaccines.

LESLIE is a 1 year old cat looking for her forever home. Before coming to The Animal Center, Leslie was living in a hole of an abandoned cement foundation. Happy to be warm and fed, Leslie loves to lavish affection with cuddles and kisses. She is spayed and current on vaccines.

SPECKLES was left behind when her owner moved. She spent months living on her own until a neighbor spotted her and made the connection that she was abandoned. Speckles did not get a lot of love and attention as a kitten and therefore she’s a little weary, but The Animal Center is certain she will thrive in a patient and loving home. Speckles loves to purr and is really glad to be inside during these cold days. She is spayed and current on vaccines.

OSCAR is a 14 week old male beagle/hound mix. He’s friendly, neutered and up to date on vaccines.

EMMY is a 14 week old beagle/hound mix. She plays very well with other dogs and would make a perfect family pet. She is spayed and current on vaccines.

KAHLUA is a female Shepherd mix, and is approximately 14 weeks old. She has a mellow temperament but is still playful and she’s very smart. She gets along with everyone. Kahlua is spayed and current on vaccines.

STONE is a 3 year old Border Collie mix who was pulled just minutes from being euthanized. Stone would do best in a home with older children and adults. He is playful and very obedient. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. The Animal Center asks that you consider opening your home to an older dog.

PAPRIKA is a playful, seven month old hound/lab mix who is very friendly. He gets along great with other dogs, he’s crate trained and up to date on vaccines.

JOSEPHINE is an 11 week old Lab/Dalmatian mix. She is spayed, very sweet, great with every she meets and current on vaccines.

TEDDY is an energetic, two year old Chi mix. He gets along great with other dogs and crate trained. He would do best in an adult home as he is not good with children.

Good news: Snickers has been adopted.
