Trinity Day Schoolâs Fun Fair brought out the animal in lots of children recently as volunteers painted everything from cats to butterflies to saber tooth tigers on their young customerâs faces.
For many transforming themselves into works of art, washable tattoos, another attraction at the fair, completed their stylish look.
The Fun Fair, the day schoolâs largest annual fundraiser, introduces local businesses to families through their silent auction, raffle, and food/beverage donations. Classes also made contributions to the auction in the form of baskets that were themed to peak a variety of interests, such as: scrap booking, cooking with your kids, home improvement, and dinosaurs.
The kids play the largest part in making sure the day is a success by enjoying all the activities the fair has to offer. Games were a huge hit this year with the addition of a new golf game to last yearâs fishing, basketball, bowling, and ring toss.
For the little competitors, victory as well as defeat was rewarded with various prizes, smiles, and lots of laughs â making everyone a winner. The crafting station was also booming as busy hands decorated crowns and masks, created ladybug and bumblebee thermometers and turned ordinary boxes into frogs and turtles.
For those who worked up an appetite, pizza, popcorn, doughnuts, and bagels as well as coffee and other beverages were available for purchase.
