Quick Wit And Humor Will Be Missed
Clinton C. Coddington III, 57, of Woodbury, died after a brief illness, April 2, at St Maryâs Hospital, surrounded by family and loved ones. Mr Coddington was born February 26, 1954, in Danbury, the son of Patricia (Moore) Hickey of Orlando and Clinton C. Coddington II.
Mr Coddington is survived by two sisters, including Susan C. Makin, the advertising manager of The Newtown Bee and Antiques and The Arts Weekly. His beloved fiancée Kathleen June, her children, and grandchild; his mother; his loving son and daughter, Clinton C. Coddington IV and Christina Coddington; and several nieces and nephews survive him. He was predeceased by his father.
Mr Coddington served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War, and as an EMT in Southbury. He was employed at Amphenol RF in Danbury for more than 35 years. He played for the Amphenol softball team, enjoyed riding his Harley, and was a fan of NASCAR and New England Patriot football.
