Pamela J. Scott

Native Newtown Resident

Pamela J. (Person) Scott, 51, of Newtown, died April 6, after a long illness. She was born in Bridgeport, November 10, 1959, a daughter of Joan M. (Wadell) and Wayne C. Person of Newtown.

Ms Scott was raised in Newtown and was a graduate of Newtown High School, Class of 1977. She graduated from the Katherine Gibbs School in 1980. Before returning to Newtown, she was a longtime resident of Englewood, Fla., where she was employed as an executive secretary.

In addition to her parents, Ms Scott is survived by her daughter, Tanya Scott of Englewood, Fla.; a sister, Kim McClellan of South China, Maine; a brother, Darren Person of Venice, Calif.; two nephews; and two aunts. She was predeceased by her grandparents Carl and Elenor Wadell and Carl and Helen Person, and by an aunt.

Private funeral services will take place in the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown.
