Haircuts For Frank The Barber

Stylists at Ricci’s Salons, at 99 South Main Street, are planning a cut-a-thon to help a fellow hair specialist: Shpendi “Frank the Barber” Ambari.

Mr Ambari is the owner of Village Barber Shop in Newtown and Frank’s Unisex Styling in Monroe. After experiencing several seizure attacks, he was diagnosed a few months ago with brain cancer. He and his wife and their two children live in Beacon Falls.

The stylists at Ricci’s will join other local efforts to raise funds for Frank’s medical care when they run a cut-a-thon on Sunday, May 20, from noon to 5 pm, and Monday, May 21, from 4 to 8 pm. Appointments are preferred; call 426-1611.
