Megan LaCava dropped in 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds while Joanne Duncanson and Heidi Gleissner combined for 18 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and two blocks. For the Gym at Newtown, Mel Darrah led her team with 10 points, six rebounds and two steals. Joan Plavnicky chipped in with nine points and Siggy dropped in eight points. Newtown Mobil edged Colorgraphix, 43-40, in the final seconds as Colorgraphix was hit with a technical. Amy Proulx hit one free throw to put Mobil up by one and then Sandy Doski added two more free throws to clinch the win. Â Proulx led Mobil with 16 points (including a pair of three pointers), six rebounds, two assists and four steals. Karen Katrinak added 12 points, six rebounds, three blocks, three assists and a steal. Doski chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds, two assists and a game-high 8 steals. For Denmoâs, Jody Rajcula canned 15 points, grabbed eight rebounds, blocked three shots, made two steals and dished off four assists. Holly Ferguson had a strong game with 11 points while Vicki Davis chipped in with 10. Kim Lowell contributed eight points and five rebounds while Laura Denis, Laura Cook and Stephanie Trolle combined for 10 points and five rebounds.
