The Newtown High School stadium snack shack needs volunteers for a variety of positions at home events. Call Dan Barrett at 270-1927 or 770-0925 to volunteer.

Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps is seeking volunteers. While emergency medical certification is required to ride the ambulances, noncertified volunteers can assist in various positions. Medic truck drivers are needed and do not need to be certified. Applications can be filled out at the ambulance garage on Main Street.

An experienced grant writer to volunteer their expertise is also sought by the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Call the garage at 270-4380 to volunteer for this position.
