A Cool Gift

To the Editor:

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Pat Caruso and the Newtown Rotary Club for donating a refrigerator to Newtown Social Services for use in our food pantry.

During the summer, we are fortunate to receive an abundance of vegetables from the Victory Garden and the refrigerator will be very helpful in keeping items fresh for our clients. This donation also enables us to accept perishable food items such as eggs, milk, and butter for distribution to those in need. Once again, we thank you and encourage all residents to support Newtown Rotary Club in its efforts to make Newtown a better community for all.
