SAT Preparation Course

For students with high college aspirations, Newtown Continuing Ed is bringing to Newtown High School one of the region’s top SAT preparers, Ivy Bound Test Prep.

The majority of Ivy Bound’s students have increased their scores by over 100 points, maximizing their chances for high caliber acceptances and college scholarships. The Ivy Bound teachers are Columbia, NYU, Pomona, and Yale students who have scored in the top two percent themselves and have a zeal for teaching teens.

This is a thorough course that covers Math and Verbal over a 48-hour series of classes. Classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:30 to 5:30 pm for all four weeks of Summer School (July 9 – August 3rd).

The course is open to all students in the Class of 2002 and 2003. It has been arranged for software to be provided once the course finishes so students can continue studying over the late summer for the October PSAT/SAT.

The cost of the course including material is $395 ($475 if after June 20th). Newtown Continuing Education is arranging registration.
