Newtown Knights of Columbus to Sponsor Youth Soccer Challenge

All boys and girls ages 10-14, (as of January 1), are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2008 Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge at Treadwell Park on Sunday, September 28 at 6:30 pm. There is no entry fee.

This is similar to the Knights Free Throw Shooting Competition with points awarded to shots on net into particular sections of a goal.

The Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge is sponsored annually, with winners receiving plaques and progressing through local, district, and state competitions. All boys and girls ages 10 to 14 are eligible to participate and will compete in their respective age divisions.

All contestants on the local level are recognized for their participation in the event.

Participants are required to furnish proof of age and written parental consent.
