Woman’s Club Plans Dessert Card Party

The Newtown Woman’s Club, GFWC/CT, will hold a dessert card party on Wednesday, October 31, at the United Methodist Church, 92 Church Hill Road, in Sandy Hook from 1 to 4 pm.

There will be a large selection of desserts, coffee and tea. There will also be table prizes and door prizes. All tabletop games including card games, Monopoly, Scrabble, and others are welcome to be played. Participants are asked to bring their own cards and games, if possible.

Tickets are $6 and may be purchased at the door or call 426-5286 to reserve tickets.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will help support the many groups and organizations that the Newtown Woman’s Club donates to each year.
