Appraisal Day

BROOKFIELD — Brookfield Historical Society will host an antique appraisal day on Sunday, September 17, from 1 to 4 pm, at its museum, on Route 25 at Route 133 in Brookfield Center. The event will be led by the noted antiques dealer Linda Schramm, who will be joined by Len Hanley, a military, Civil War and guns expert; Virginia Newell, who specializes in 18th and 19th Century items; sports memorabilia specialist Gary Dorfman; and American art pottery specialist Ken Kolski. Ms Schramm will handle appraisals of glass and furniture.

Cost is $5 per item, with a three item-per-person limit. All proceeds will go to Brookfield Historical Society Museum. Call 775-1066 for additional information.
