Rocking Rooster Run Saturday, June 16

The Newtown Parks and Recreation Department will hold its 38th Annual Rocking Rooster Run 5K on Saturday, June 16.

The 3.1-mile course starts and finishes at the Newtown Municipal Center and goes through a portion of Fairfield Hills, including the trail.

The race will begin at 8 am. This is a family friendly event for runners of all ages and levels of ability. 

Pre-registration cost is $20 for adults and $15 for students and the cost day of the race is $25 for adults and $20 for students. The first 350 registrants receive a race T-shirt and there will be a trophy presentation at the conclusion of the event. All of the race proceeds benefit the Newtown Scholarship Association.
