Author Kathleen Kudlinski has spent a lifetime telling stories and science to kids of all ages. She has written 38 children’s books, ranging from picture books to young adult novels, and including natural history, biographies, and historical novels.

For 21 years, Ms Kudlinski has also written and illustrated an award-winning newspaper column on natural history for the Sunday New Haven Register.

Her new series, including Boy, Were We Wrong About Dinosaurs! and ...About the Solar System! (Dutton, 2005 and 2008) has received starred reviews, appeared on “Pick of the Lists” and won an Oppenheim Gold Award.  

 When not writing, Ms Kudlinski is a popular speaker in classrooms, libraries, and conferences. She lives in Guilford with her husband, Hank, on the edge of a cold, deep pond full of wildlife.
