Seth Morris Wins BMX Championship
Newtown resident Seth Morris recently won the State BMX Championship, placing first in Connecticut for his age and proficiency (13 year-old Rookie).
The State Championship Race was held at Foothills BMX track in Torrington in September.
Morris was also the winner of the 2007 LEAP (Local Earned Award Program) at his home track, the Bethel Supercross this season.
He was the top-scoring rookie among 113 eligible for the honor.
Morris is sponsored by local business owner, Attorney Anne M. Ragusa.
Morris participates in the National Bicycle League (nbl.org), which brings Bicycle Motocross Racing through its large network of BMX Tracks across the country.
