Businesses Helped Meet

The Summer Reading Challenge

To the Editor:

The Teen Summer Reading Challenge for grades 6–12 at C.H. Booth Library has just ended, and it was a great success. Over 100 young people participated, which is the most ever!

I would like to thank the following local businesses and organizations who generously donated prizes and gift certificates that we gave away in our raffles. These community members know the value of reading, and their incentives are an integral part of the program. We thank them for their community spirit: Bead of Roses, Cave Comics, Dunkin’ Donuts, Edmond Town Hall Theater, Franco’s Pizza, My Place Restaurant, Newtown Nail Spa, Newtown Pizza Palace, Peachwave Frozen Yogurt, and the Little Bookstore at C.H. Booth Library.

Congratulations to all the participants and the sponsors in summer 2012!
