SHELTON â Some of New Englandâs foremost experts in child behavior and developmental pediatrics will take part in the 27th annual Maxwell Bogin Lecture in Pediatrics, 8 am to 3 pm, October 6, at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, 780 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton.
Sponsored by Bridgeport Hospital the theme of this yearâs lecture, âDevelopmental Behavioral Pediatrics,â is intended for health care professionals who provide primary care to infants and children. Continuing medical education credit is available.

âAs pediatricians, child behavior and development are a large part of what we do,â explained Dr Thomas Kennedy, Bridgeport Hospitalâs chairman of pediatrics. âJust like the rest of medicine, approaches and interventions change with time and we want to be certain we are familiar and comfortable with what is current.â

Established in 1978, the Bogin Lecture honors the memory of Dr Maxwell Bogin, Bridgeport Hospitalâs chairman of pediatrics from 1948 to 1967.
