Hospital To Host Eco-Friendly Fair
DANBURY â Danbury Hospital will host the second Green Fair organized by a high-energy, employee-driven Green Team on Tuesday, October 26, from 8 am to 4 pm, in the Robilotti Conference Center, located adjacent to the 5 Tower Main Lobby.
The Danbury Hospital Green Fair is free and open to the public and is geared toward continuing education about becoming more environmentally friendly in day-to-day living. Green Team members will show off eco-friendly green practices that are in place at the hospital, and what green initiatives are planned in the construction of the new tower. Special emphasis will also be placed on green principles that can be used at home.
Cellphones no longer in use will be collected for recycling, with photes to be donated to The Womenâs Center of Greater Danbury.
