Childrenâs Programs
* Halloween Fun: Kids age 3-7 can get an early start on Trick-or-Treating on Tuesday, October 31, from 4 to 5:30 pm. Members of Young Adult Council will read Halloween stories and lead simple crafts, and there will be âYour Favorite Witchesâ skits by The Mask & Wig Players at 5 performed by the Mask & Wig Players.
Costumes are encouraged, and registration is not needed necessary.
*Nutmeg Book Discussion: Becoming Naomi Leon by Pam Munoz Ryan will be discussed on Wednesday,
November 1, at 4 pm. Students in grades 4-6 are invited to join these informal book discussions.
Programs For Young Adults
*YA Book Talk: Our next Letâs Talk About will be Say Yes by Audrey Couloumbis on Wednesday, November 8, from 4 to 5 pm.
This program is for readers in grades 5 and up. Sign up at the Main Floor Circulation Desk, or call ahead, or just drop in.
Adult Programs
*Independent Film Series: Films are screened in the meeting room at 7:30 pm.
Next in the series is Campfire, on Tuesday, November 14.
*Celebrating Book Groups: The C.H. Booth Library is planning a party and reception celebrating all of the book groups in town. Please call the library with the name of your group and a contact person so we can get your input and include your book group in the fun.
*Book Nook: Get in the spirit of the season with selected Halloween titles at great prices in the Friends of the Libraryâs Book Nook located next to the main circulation desk on the second floor.
