Alice W. Kepchar

Alice W. Kepchar, 79, of Shelton, died January 27 in Gardner Heights.

She was the sister of Harry H. Walsh of Sandy Hook and Dorothy Pellitier of Newtown.

Mrs Kepchar was born in Bridgeport and was a longtime Stratford resident before moving to Huntington six years ago. She was a retired secretary for Remington Arms and a member of the DuPont Remington Pensioners Club of CT. She was the widow of George Kepchar.

Survivors include three other brothers, Edward F. Walsh and John L. Walsh, Jr, both of Huntington, and Thomas R. Walsh of Beacon Falls; four other sisters including her twin sister, Gladys Federowicz of Huntington; Marion Kotenski of Huntington; Ann Bove of Bridgeport and Sally Schiffer of Huntington.

Funeral services were held on January 29 in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, and in St Lawrence Church. Interment will be in Lawn Cemetery in the spring.
