Cornell J. Siket

Cornell J. Siket, 71, husband of Julie (Szost) Siket, of Fairfield, died

suddenly February 3 in his home. He was the father of Barbara Larsen of

Newtown.

He was born in Fairfield and was a life-long resident of the town.

Mr Siket was a United States Army veteran of World War II. He worked as a

dental technician for Zeisler's Dental Laboratory for 26 years and as a

machinist for Sturm Ruger for ten years until his retirement in 1990.

In addition to his wife of 45 years and his daughter, he is survived by two

other daughters, Marianne and Kathleen Siket, both of Fairfield; a sister,

Margaret Szost of Fairfield; a brother, George Siket of Sunset, Ariz.; and

numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Helen

Tavgerize, Ethel Gyori and Goldie Sforza; a niece, Irene Richeson and a

nephew, James Szost.

Funeral services will be held on February 6 at 11:15 am in the Lesko Funeral

Home, 1209 Post Road in Fairfield Center with the Rev Robert Knebel

officiating. Burial will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery.

Friends may greet the family on February 5, from 4 to 8 pm.
