Robert D. Hagadorn

Robert D. Hagadorn, 86, a former resident of Sandy Hook, died March 21 at the

Cedar Lane Rehabilitation Center in Waterbury.

Mr Hagadorn was the husband of the late Dorothy Stenhouse Hagadorn.

He was born in New York City on January 10, 1912. He had lived on Longview

Road in Sandy Hook from 1978 until he moved to Waterbury in 1992.

Mr Hagadorn was a veteran of World War II, serving as a lieutenant in the US

Navy. Prior to moving to Newtown, he was employed in the advertising business

in New York City.

Mr Hagadorn is survived by a stepson, James Hibbard of Hoboken, N.J.; and a

stepdaughter, Sue Hibbard, also of Hoboken.

Graveside services were March 24 in St Ann's Episcopal Church Cemetery,

Sayville, N.Y.

The Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, was in charge of

arrangements.
