Eagles And Others At Audubon

DERBY — Wind Over Wings, a wildlife rehabilitation organization, will present a program entitled “Eagles and Others” at Kellogg Environmental Center, 500 Hawthorne Avenue. The program will be on Monday, Feb 12, and will begin at 7:30 pm.

Hope Douglas, the founding director of Wind Over Wings, will be assisted by Denali, an immature bald eagle from Alaska; Skywalker, a Golden Eagle; and a beautiful barred owl and an American kestrel. Wind Over Wings’ goal is to release wildlife back into the wild, although these four birds are not releasable.

The program is being jointly sponsored by Naugatuck Valley Audubon Society and Kellogg Environmental Center. It is well suited for adults and children. There is no charge, although donations will be accepted.

For directions and to register, call 203/734-2513 between 9 am and 4:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
