James D.        Ruggiero

James “Jamie” D. Ruggiero, 36, died suddenly on November 22. A former resident of Trumbull, Jamie graduated in 1986 from Trumbull High School and recently resided in Newtown.

He worked with his father at D&J Masonry Construction. Jamie is fondly remembered for his good nature and charismatic wit along with his unbounded love for his family and the many animals in his care over his lifetime. He will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving parents, Donald and Paulette Ruggiero; a brother, Christopher Ruggiero; his maternal grandmother, Yvette Fugiero; aunts and uncles, Bonnie and Richard Tuozzoli, Robin Fugiero, Brenda J. Cobb, Carmella Mazzuco, Guido Ruggiero, Jerry Bernardo, Angie and Kenneth Coon, and Irma and Ronald Kopchak; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, “Tootie” Fugiero.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, November 26, at 10:30 am, in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will be announced.
