Arrest Warrant
On the afternoon of July 25, police served a felony arrest warrant against Brian Brown, 32, of 25 Algonquin Trail, lodging six charges against him.
Police charged Brown with first degree failure to appear in court, which is a felony.
The warrant also listed charges of possession of narcotics, driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, and possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle.
Those charges stem from a motor vehicle accident last December.
In that accident on December 8, Brown was driving a 1988 Chevrolet Celebrity southward near 28 Glen Road, when Brown lost control of the auto, crossed the roadâs centerline, entered the northbound lane and then struck a masonry wall along the northbound road shoulder. Brown was injured in the accident.
Police held Brown on $15,000 bail for a July 26 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
