Multi-Generational Concert

At The Meeting House

A multi-generational choir, called “Music Through the Ages,” will hold a concert at The Meeting House in Newtown, on Saturday, March 31.

Beginning at 8 pm, the evening will include the performance of an eclectic group of music, comprised of songs like Mozart’s “Laudate Dominum” to “Bridge Over Troubled Water” to “Seasons of Love” from Rent. The ticket donation is $10. Please call Kate Neary at 860-355-2829 for more information.

The choir is Kate’s Senior Project, a year-long project at Shepaug Valley High School, which is of personal design. Directing the group is Patty Jimanez, choral director at Danbury High School. The choir is composed of 30 voices from the ages of 11 to 70. All monies made will go to ASAP, Shepaug’s After School Arts Program. A reception will immediately follow the performance.
