To the Editor:

As you know, Newtown is one of the fastest growing communities in Connecticut. Our town needs a leader with vision and a proactive approach to meet the growth and needs of the taxpayers. A person with a commitment to bring new businesses into town, to aggressively pursue open space acquisitions, to actively address the needs of our senior population, to promote a cultural arts community center, to make the right decisions on how to use Fairfield Hills, to maintain a quality education for our young people, and to continue to provide the quality of life that we all expect from our leaders.

I believe Bill Sheluck will diligently address our needs and bring accountability to our town government. His solid business background in management and finances provides him with the necessary skills to do this. Bill has a vision and a plan for action. He will receive my support and hopefully yours as well. Vote for Bill Sheluck on November 4 and put a leader in Town Hall.
