‘Reconciliation’ Preview For Seniors

NEW MILFORD — TheatreWorks New Milford will open its 2001 season with a production of Italian-American Reconciliation, a comedy where everyone learns a little bit about men, a little bit about women, and a whole lot about amoré.

The production will open on Friday, February 23, but all area seniors are invited to attend a free preview performance on Thursday, February 22. Curtain will be at 8 pm.

Regular performances will then continue each Friday and Saturday night through March 17. One matinee will also be offered, on Sunday, March 11, at 2 pm. Tickets for all regular performances are $15 for adults, $13 students and seniors.

Italian-American Reconciliation is a modern day folk tale in the spirit of the Oscar-winning movie Moonstruck.

What do you do when you are safely divorced from your awful wife who shot your dog and then took aim at you? Why you enlist the help of your lifelong friend to woo her back, of course. Italian-American Reconciliation is a story of love lost and found.
