To the Editor:

On November 4, I will vote for Board of Education candidate Andy Buzzi.

Last April, Andy was appointed to the Board of Education to fill a vacancy when Sheila Stickles resigned. This was a wise choice, as he is accessible to all, intelligent, caring, and dedicated to providing Newtown’s children with the quality education that our community has come to expect.

Andy brings solid credentials and experience to the Board of Education. He is a businessman and attorney who served as chairman of the Public Building and Site Committee. During his tenure on the committee, the 5/6 School was built. The project was completed on time and came in under budget.

When you cast your vote for Andy on November 4, feel confident that the children of Newtown have an advocate in their corner and that our tax dollars are being spent in a responsible and judicious manner.
