WALSH LOGGING 40, PIZZA PALACE 32: Ruth Rowe scored 18 points and Carol Huizinga added 13 as Walsh held off Pizza Palace in a tough battle. Tracy Palella contributed nine points. For Pizza, Beth Gattey scored 12 points, Karen Powell added 10, and Jackie Peterson and Sue Follett combined for 10.

WALSH LOGGING 58, NEWTOWN AMOCO 38: Carol Huizinga scored 22 points, Ruth Rowe tossed in 15, and Tracy Palella added 12 as Walsh upended Amoco. Megan LaCava contributed nine. For Amoco, Justin Kohlsaat scored 14 points and Denis Brough added 13. Leslie Trudell chipped in with nine.

CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS 40, PIZZA PALACE 39: Holly Ferguson scored 15 points and Colleen Gregory added 13 as Charter Communications rallied in the fourth quarter to slip past Pizza Palace. Laura Denis added eight points and Laura Willing contributed four. For Pizza Palace, Karen Powell scored 18 points, Jackie Peterson scored 17, and Lisa Checkley tossed in four.

NEWTOWN COLOR CENTER 62, KERLER/BURTON 34: Lisa Pollard poured in 26 points as Newtown Color Center smashed Kerler Burton. Sharon McCarthy and Melanie Townsend added 15 points apiece while Joan Plavnicky and Sharon Palmer combined for six points. For Kerler Burton, Michele Putnicki had 10 points while Natalia Kerler and Nancy Bowen had six points apiece. Debis Modzelewsli and Sherri Baggett scored four points each while Amy Mangold and Missy Desrochers each tossed in a basket.

NEWTOWN AMOCO 71, CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS 45: Denise Brough led Amoco with 24 points followed by Justine Kohlsaat with 19, Terry Schmeidel with 16 and Leslie Trudell with 12. Laura Denis scored a personal record 30 points for Charter with Laura Willing adding 11 and Stephanie Trolle four.

PIZZA PALACE 44, NEWTOWN COLOR CENTER 42: Karen Powell tossed in 30 points for Pizza Palace with Beth Gattey adding 14. Melanie Townsend and Sharon McCarthy each had 14 points for Newtown Color Center  with Joan Plavnicky adding eight and Sharon Palmer six.

WALSH LOGGING 55, KERLER/BURTON 36: In an unexpectedly close game, first place Walsh Logging rallied in the fourth quarter to pull off the win against last place Kerler/Burton. Carol Huizinga led Walsh with 26. Ruth Rowe added 19, Megan LaCava six, and Nancy Stefan and Doris Ratner each had two points. Nancy Bowen was high scorer for Kerler Burton with 12. Michele Putnicky and Sherri Baggett each had 10 and Amy Mangold and Bonnie Willie tossed in two each.
