The Newtown Youth Basketball Program will host a series of basketball clinics at the Newtown High School gym - clinics that will be free to all boys and girls in grades 5 through 8 who are playing youth basketball.
The Newtown Youth Basketball Program will host a series of basketball clinics at the Newtown High School gym â clinics that will be free to all boys and girls in grades 5 through 8 who are playing youth basketball.
On Saturday, November 1, girls in fifth through eighth grade will meet from 10 am to 12 noon for a clinic run by Ed Swanson, head coach at Sacred Heart University. Boys in fifth through eighth grades will meet from 12:30 to 2:30 pm for a clinic run by Bob Campbell, head coach at Western Connecticut State University.
On Saturday, November 8, girls in fifth through eighth grade will meet from 10 am to 12 noon for a clinic run by Tim Salem, head coach of the girlsâ basketball team at Newtown High School. And boys in fifth through eighth grades will meet from 12:30 to 2:30 pm for a clinic run by John Quinn, head coach of the boysâ basketball team at Newtown High School.
All players must bring a ball with their name on it.
