LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the

Town of Newtown Planning and Zoning Commission voted on the

following application at their regular meeting of August 1, 2024:

Application 24.05, by MichaelLang & Megan Lang,

for a Text Amendment to the Zoning

Regulations of the Town of Newtown, for a new Special Design

District (SDD14) located at 365 South Main Street, so as to permit

eleven (11) residential town house units with one (1) unit

designated affordable under CGS section 8-30(g) at 80% AMI. Existing

structures on the property will be demolished as described in

documents submitted to the Land Use Agency dated received May 15,

2024 and July 25, 2024.

APPROVED, EFFECTIVE August 24, 2024.

Application 24.06, by MichaelLang & Megan Lang,

for a Zone Change, for a property located

at 365 South Main Street, so as to change the Zone from R-2 to SMVDD

to Special Design District #14 (SDD14) as detailed in documents

submitted to the Land use Agency May 15, 2024 and July 25, 2024.

APPROVED, EFFECTIVE August 24, 2024.

Application 24.07, by MichaelLang & Megan Lang,

for a Special Exception/Site Development

Plan, located at 365 South Main Street, in the South Main Street

Village Design District, the proposal is for a Special Development

District to permit eleven (11) residential town house units with one

(1) unit designated affordable under CGS section 8-30(g) at 80% AMI.

Existing structures on the property will be demolished, as

demonstrated on a set of plans titled, “South Main Townhouses,

365 South Main Street - CT Route 25, Newtown, Connecticut 06470,”

dated revised March 11, 2024 and all supporting documents, submitted

to the Land Use Agency dated May 15, 2024 and July 25, 2024.

APPROVED, EFFECTIVE August 24, 2024.
