On May 30, at noon, at St Rose Church, the Most Reverend Bishop Frank Caggiano of the Diocese of Bridgeport will tape his popular podcast series “Let Me Be Frank” and take questions from the live audience.

The weekly podcast features the Bishop sharing honest opinions and having frank discussions on varied topics including Catholic news, faith, and Catholicism. He also reflects on Sunday Gospels and takes questions from listeners.

The podcast is hosted by Steve Lee of Veritas Catholic Network.

Caggiano said he is “thrilled to visit St Rose of Lima Parish and to hold our ‘Let Me Be Frank’ podcast there.

“It’s a wonderful community and a vibrant parish,” he added.

For the live taping at St Rose, Caggiano requested questions from the community on broad subjects regarding the Church and personal faith. Questions regarding the Bishop’s thoughts on the new Pope Leo XIV will likely be a focal point of the podcast.

The episode will be conducted like a town hall meeting where participants can ask their question in the live setting, or submit anonymously. Those who would like to submit a question in advance can do so via email to content@strosechurch.com.

St Rose Pastor Peter Cipriani said the podcast recording offers “a great way to bring the Bishop closer to his diocesan community.

“And our parishioners now have direct access to hear what he thinks about topics that are important and relevant to them,” he added.

This will be the first live taping in a diocesan church since the podcast’s inception in 2022. For more information visit strosechurch.com/news.
