Michael Guarino passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 91, at Danbury Hospital. Born in Brooklyn NY on July 26, 1933, Michael served in the Army during the Korean War, where he proudly served his country. After his military service, he built a lifelong career as a heavy machine mechanic. In the 1970s, he also owned and operated Mr. G's Coffee Shop in New Preston, CT, with his wife Betty, it was a beloved local gathering spot.

Michael was a passionate outdoorsman, an avid fisherman, and a dedicated fan of the New England Patriots. In his younger days, he cherished camping trips with family and friends, creating lasting memories in nature.

He is survived by his daughters, Susanne and Leslie; his grandchildren Danny, Alicia, Eric, Tina and Nicole and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-grandchildren.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Betty (Saunders); sons, Joey and Rocco; daughter, Marie; and siblings, Roy, Vinnie, and Jeanette.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
