Patricia Anzellotti
Patricia “Pat” Anzellotti peacefully passed away on August 19, 2025, at the age of 91. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Rudolph “Rudy” Anzellotti, and her grandson, Jason. She was born on March 3, 1934, in Bridgeport.
Pat’s legacy lives on through her three children: Deborah and her husband David, Rudy and his wife Patty, and Kevin and his wife Barbara. She was blessed with grandchildren Tricia Cianci, Zandra Thompson, Doug Makl, and Jessica Anzellotti, and great-grandchildren Emma, Nathan, Hailey, Adria, Nicholas, Brianna, and Jayson, each of whom carry her spirit forward.
Pat lived a rich and vibrant life. She raised her family with her husband in Sandy Hook, before retiring to Heritage Village in Southbury. Pat had a deep love for animals and found pride and joy in her work at Newtown Animal Control, where she dedicated over 20 years of her life. She also cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, capturing special moments on home video and showering her family with thoughtful gifts. Pat’s favorite thing to say to her grandchildren was “I love you more.” Her home was always filled with warmth, the smell of delicious meals, and her famous homemade Italian cookies.
Pat also knew how to have fun. She and Rudy were often found on bus trips to the casino, sharing laughs, and hoping for a big win. Her laugh was truly one of a kind — joyful, contagious, and unforgettable.
Pat was the matriarch of her family. Being loved by Pat was an honor and a gift. While her absence leaves a deep ache, we also carry gratitude for her life, for her love, and for the countless ways she shaped us. She will be forever missed and forever remembered.
Calling hours will be held Saturday August 30, from noon to 2 pm, at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main Street North, Southbury. Burial will follow at St Rose Cemetery, Sandy Hook.
