David Wayne Booth
It is with great sadness that the family of David Wayne Booth announces his passing on August 1, in Waterbury.
He was born on January 25, 1965, in Danbury, to parents Margery "Neena" Booth and Larry C Booth of Newtown.
David grew up and attended schools in Newtown. He attended Bible Baptist CHurch, beginning at the age of six days. The younger David was always busy with his "projects," always on the go. He loved nature, the outdoors, and Dickenson Park. He loved riding bikes and picnics at the beach. As a teenager, he taught himself to be a good mechanic, working on many cars. He was also a good cook, working at the Botsford Drive-In here in town. He was active in AA and NA and a counselor at Farrell House in New Britain. He was last employed as a pest control technician.
David is survived by his parents; his father's wife, Janice of Newtown; his sisters, Debbie Hicks of Newtown and Hazel Bostwick of Southbury; and his brother, Frank Schovanec and his wife, Lori, of Newtown.
He will be missed by his nieces, Carrie Neto of Bethel and Kiley Schovanec of Newtown; and his nephews, Christopher Hicks of Newtown and Ryan Miller-Booth of Naugatuck.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Mark and Robert; and his daughter, Angelina.
David was kind a loving with a heart full of love to share. He will be missed by many.
