One Newtown organization is among the 140 listed on April 7 when the Connecticut Office of the Arts released its list of FY 2026 CT Arts Endowment Fund (CAEF) Award recipients.

CAEF grants provide general operating support that organizations use for programming, administrative or operational costs, capital projects, or equipment. They can also add the grant funds to their own endowment.

The fund is managed by the Office of the State Treasurer and the program is administered by the Connecticut Office of the Arts.

Ben’s Lighthouse, Inc was awarded a $1,395 grant.

The COA awarded grants totaling $946,398.
