To The Editor:

I've lived in town for over 25 years and although I was well aware of Michelle Embree Ku as a town leader, it wasn't until she rang my door bell several years ago that I really got to know her.

I think we talked for 45 minutes as she asked my opinion on town issues. She had other homes to visit that day but she took the time to get to know me and listen to my concerns.

Dr. Ku has served the people of Newtown for 15 year, first on the Board of Ed, then the Legislative Council, Board of Selectmen, and the Charter Revision Committee. She also knows her way around Hartford, having served on several committees on the state level.

Her commitment to Newtown has stood the test of time and she is the best candidate to represent our 106th District in Hartford.

Michelle knows what is important to you and me because she's heard our voices for 15 years. If you are a registered Democrat, please turn out on May 26 to endorse Michelle.
