Teresa Adelaide (Kotch) Trithart, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, in Brooksville, Florida, at the age of 65, surrounded by love and with her devoted husband by her side.

Born on November 23, 1960, Teresa, widely known as “Terry” or “TK,” was the cherished daughter of the late John Kotch and the late Joan Kotch Collucci. She grew up in Newtown, where she graduated from Newtown High School. Teresa later made Florida her home, residing there for more than 41 years.

Teresa was the devoted and loving wife of Brian Trithart. She was a proud and caring mother to Tiffany Allen Russell and Danny Allen. She is also survived by her beloved siblings, Christine and her husband Greg Tischler, Joann Kotch Marino, Kelli Kotch, and John Kotch.

In addition to her immediate family, Teresa leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, many close friends, and her faithful dog, Mia, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

A passionate advocate for children’s rights, Teresa dedicated much of her life to caring for and supporting others. Her greatest joy, however, was her family and friends. She had a remarkable gift for creating lasting memories and traditions that brought loved ones together. Whether hosting tea parties, carnivals, pool parties, family movie nights, karaoke gatherings, dress-up dinners, family Olympics, or elaborate seasonal celebrations, Teresa made every occasion special.

Christmas held a particularly cherished place in her heart, and her enthusiasm for decorating and celebrating the holiday filled her home with warmth and wonder.

Teresa was also deeply creative and enjoyed jewelry making, arts and crafts, painting, gaming, and other artistic pursuits. Her kindness, imagination, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be remembered by all who knew her.

Though she is no longer with us, Teresa’s legacy lives on through the countless memories she created, the traditions she established, and the love she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
