Edmond Town Hall this week announced it will welcome the acclaimed comedian, actor, and author Jeff Hiller to the stage on Friday, November 6, with his hit stand-up show, “Jeff Hiller Is Basic.”

Known to millions as Joel on HBO’s Somebody Somewhere, Hiller has become one of comedy’s most beloved voices through his sharp wit, heartfelt storytelling, and refreshingly honest take on everyday life. A veteran of New York’s Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Hiller has also appeared in American Horror Story, 30 Rock, Broad City, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and numerous other television and film projects.

In “Jeff Hiller Is Basic,” audiences can expect an evening filled with hilarious observations, self-deprecating humor, and deeply relatable stories about growing up, getting older, and finding joy in the ordinary. Hiller’s unique blend of vulnerability and comedy has earned him a devoted following and widespread critical acclaim.

Edmond Town Hall Marketing Director Rachel Iazzetta says the comedian “has a remarkable ability to make audiences laugh while reminding us of our shared humanity.

“His warmth, authenticity, and impeccable comic timing create an unforgettable live experience. We’re excited to bring one of today’s most engaging comedians to Newtown,” she added.

Jeff Hiller joins what has become one of the strongest comedy lineups in Edmond Town Hall’s history. This fall’s schedule includes Gary Gulman on October 25, which is already sold out, and the recently announced Caroline Rhea, December 12. Together, the nationally recognized comedians reflect Edmond Town Hall’s continued commitment to bringing top touring talent to Newtown, also according to Iazzetta.
