To The Editor:

I am writing this letter in support of Rob Blanchard who is running for Connecticut’s 28th State Senate District.

I’ve known Rob for several years now and he is exactly the kind of person that we want in this office. He is a family man who loves Newtown. He has the political as well as the private sector experience to do the job. He most recently served as Deputy Majority Leader of Fairfield’s Representative Town Meeting.

Rob is singularly focused on making life in Newtown more affordable. He understands us Newtowners because he is one of us — he lives here and is raising his young family here. His main concerns are the rising cost of healthcare, childcare, and housing. He especially understands how important the quality of our Newtown education is and that it must be preserved and improved upon at all costs.

Rob is my choice for State Senator and he should be yours. Please get out and vote for Rob.
