To The Editor:

Voting is serious business and many of us take it too lightly. We vote for the person who has a nice smile or one who has been in office a long time. Especially now, we need to delve more deeply into the records of our candidates. What have they promised and what have they actually done for you and me.

If you look at Mitch Bolinsky’s record you will see that he has voted along party lines whether it was good for Newtown or not. On the other hand, Michelle Ku has listened to us and voted accordingly. She has served the people of Newtown with integrity, commitment, and a deep understanding of our community’s needs. Please join me and vote for Michelle Embree Ku this November. Her voice in Hartford will reflect the priorities and values of the residents she serves.
