Any pets? I just got a puppy a couple of weeks ago.

Work: I work at Newtown Hardware. I also started my own business about four or five years ago, Daniel Sorrentino Small Engine Repair. I do smaller stuff — lawn tractors, snowblowers, garden and lawn equipment, stuff like that.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I’ve always liked working with my hands so I figured something mechanical, which I’m doing now.

Favorite kind of music? I love old country and classic rock.

Favorite performers? I like a couple of the old country singers who are no longer here, like George Jones and Conway Twitty.

What was the most recent concert you went to? I’ve never been to a concert in my life.

If you could spend the day with one person, living or deceased, who would you choose and why? My grandfather, if I could go back 10 or 12 years ago. We used to do everything together. Saturdays we’d go get breakfast, go to his house, do yardwork, and just hang out together. He taught me a lot. A lot of stuff I know now is because of him.

Favorite color? Blue.

Do you have a favorite travel destination? Lancaster, Pennsylvania. There’s cornfields everywhere you go, it’s not built up, and it’s just gorgeous.

Favorite thing to eat? Shrimp scampi.

Favorite season? Fall.

What is your proudest accomplishment? The business I grew, and the clientele I have.

What is your favorite thing about Newtown? A lot of people recommend me by word of mouth and I’m thankful for that. It’s a big enough town that it’s helped me grow the business to what it is now.

Who or what is something you cannot live without? My girlfriend. She does quite a bit for me, and the pup, and around the house.
