Every Penny Counts

To the Editor:

Since last August, my daughter Mackenzie has collected “Pennies For Paws” at Your Healthy Pet on South Main Street. Owners Tom and MaryKay have generously allowed Mackenzie’s painted coffee can to sit on their counter. We are proud to say that our third collection yielded $55.

The total so far comes to $159, all of which has been donated to Canine Advocates of Newtown for the new animal shelter being built. Every penny counts and is appreciated!
