After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Adam Samuels, 21, of 128 Hanover Road went to the police station on January 12 and was charged with failure to respond to an infraction. That charge stems from Samuelsâ not resolving a past infraction ticket against him on a charge of creating a public disturbance, police said.
Samuels posted an $88 bond and was released for a January 22 appearance in Danbury Superior Court to resolve the two pending charges, police said.
Botsford Accident
Motorist Sally Feuerberg, 49, of 90 Huntingtown Road, who was driving a 2003 Subaru Outback, was exiting the Botsford Post Office driveway at about 10:49 am January 10, when she accidentally depressed the accelerator pedal on the Subaru and entered the westbound lane of Botsford Hill Road, colliding with the passenger side of a westbound 1996 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Roger Campos, 48, of Danbury, police said.
There were no injuries. Police issued Feuerberg a written warning for failure to grant the right of way from a driveway.
Church Hill Collision
 Motorist Aleksander Alves, 16, of 7 Sand Hill Road, who was driving a 1993 Ford, was turning left onto Church Hill Road from the driveway at 57 Church Hill Road, when the Ford collided with a westbound 1996 Nissan driven by Anthony Harcourt, 53, of Monroe at about 11:42 am on January 10, police said. Firefighters went to the accident.
There were no injuries. Police issued Alves an infraction ticket for failure to grant the right of way from a private driveway.
Chain Reaction
Police report a three-vehicle accident at 316 South Main Street, near Botsford Lane, about 11:12 am January 6.
Motorist Nancy Gould, 44, of 129 Brushy Hill Road, who was driving a 1995 Ford Explorer, was stopped and waiting for a noncontact vehicle to make a left turn, police report. Motorist Salvatore Pasacreta, 66, of Milford, who was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer, was positioned behind the Ford, police said. Motorist Jacqueline Causa, 28, of Shelton, who was driving a 2001 Toyota Solara, then struck the rear end of the Chevrolet, pushing the Chevrolet into the rear end of the Ford, police said.
There were no injuries. Police issued Causa a written warning for traveling an unreasonable distance apart.
