Heather Michelle Wood to Blair William Brown

Dave and Edie Wood of Gainesville, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Michelle Wood of Charlottesville, Va., to Blair William Brown of Charlottesville, son of Alan and Beth Brown of Woodbridge, Va.

The future bride graduated from Newtown High School in 1994 and James Madison University in 1998. She is employed in special event and conference planning by the National Association of College Auxiliary Services.

The future groom graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School in 1995 and James Madison University in 1999, the University of Virginia, and is a doctoral student in higher education administration at the University of Virginia.

A wedding is planned for October in St Augustine, Fla. The couple will live in Charlottesville.
