Denise Ann Petruccelli and James Joseph Hornyak, both of Newtown, were married April 11 at the Spinning Wheel Inn in Redding, with Pastor Richard Yerrlington officiating.
The groom is the son of Ruth Hornyak of Southbury, and the late William Hornyak, also of Southbury.
The bride is the daughter of Lillian Petruccelli of Bridgeport and the late Salvatore Petruccelli, also of Bridgeport.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, Matthew Myslewski.
Matron of honor was Nancy Fico of Shelton, and Dorothy Polcari of Naugatuck was a bridesmaid.
Best man was Sean Myslewski, the brideâs son. William Chamberlain of Ridgefield was an usher.
The bride attended Notre Dame High School in Bridgeport, and the University of Bridgeport. She is a secretary for the Newtown Board of Education.
The groom attended Ridgefield High School and Western Connecticut State University. He is an HVAC technician for Montanari Fuel in Ridgefield.
After the wedding, the couple took a family vacation to Cape Cod, Mass.
The Hornyaks reside at 9 Putnam Drive, Newtown.
